  •   Caitlin did an amazing job coordinating, delivering, and supplying all of the beer, wine, champagne, and liquor for our wedding.  With all of the stress that goes into planning the Big Day, it was refreshing to have a reliable, professional authority that we could count on.
We especially liked that she can work within any budget. We provided background info on our guests, our preferences, and our "bottom line", and were offered wonderful advice on the entire selection, including brand, amount, and variety. In fact, she saved us quite a bit of money by suggesting substitutions or changes in quantity, which allowed us more freedom in other areas of the budget.
Additionally, CPS's customer service was exceptional, from quick phone and email correspondence to early delivery and pick-up. As soon as our bar menu was finalized, we never had to concern ourselves with logistics. Everything arrived before our guests and was gone before breakfast the next morning.

DJ: Bruce Jacques, BJ Entertainment, Lunenburg MA A+++!

  •  Bruce's boundless energy, enthusiasm, and general excitement was the #1 item of feedback we heard from all of our guests.  In fact, one attendee was so thrilled with his show that he said he wanted Bruce to be the DJ...at his funeral!
Our favorite part of his "show" was that he appealed to all ages. Bruce has a knack for connecting all generations, from teenagers and college students to parents and grandparents.  He has the unique ability to entertain every single person in the audience, which made for a truly unforgettable event.
The music selection was a perfect mix of old-school and new-age, performance and sing-along, and fast and slow.  The dance floor was jam-packed from the start and the only disappointing part of the night was that it had to end.
It's difficult to put our appreciation into words, but easy to say that Bruce was absolutely one of the most memorable parts of the best day of our lives.

  • Zales (South Shore Plaza): B-
This is not my favorite place. At the beginning, when we took my family diamonds to a few different stores, Zales' service was great. They were the only place whose salespeople actually spoke to both of us and helped us understand our options, and we had a lot of confidence in them.  As time has gone by, however, while everyone there has been super-nice, the service level has definitely dropped. Every time I take the ring in for inspection or cleaning or anything, they find something wrong with it and insist on sending it out to be fixed, which usually takes at least a week (and ALWAYS longer than they estimate).  I've had the e-ring for just about 10 months now and already two of the pave stones have fallen out and had to be replaced (at their cost, not mine). I'm terrified now that my mom/grandmother's diamonds will do the same. They've listened to my concerns and have made efforts to reinforce the ring, but I can't say I have full confidence in it. Unfortunately by the time the small diamonds had started falling out, I'd already purchased my wedding band there too. I would not purchase anything else there.
  • Ross-Simons (Prudential Mall): A
We've just purchased Craig's ring there, but I already can't say enough about them. Their customer service was good that day (it was a very quick, easy transaction), the salesman threw in the engraving for free, and when I found the same ring on their website for 25% off 2 days later, they credited my card back for that amount, no questions asked. I definitely wish we'd purchased my rings there as well!
